I am SO SICK of OBSTACLES!!  *SCREAM*  I am out of HOPE (the scholarship) I believe because of my number of credit hours. I kind of always thought this might happen, but I had assumed I would still get the famous loan, that way the loan could cover the tuition costs and I'd be a good deal broke, but at least I'd make it to the end of school.  I ( Read more... )

Why aren't you getting the regular loan? You should...

Haven't talked to fin aid office yet but here's what I've dug up from the internet.

From my SAR report (who reads these things?): "Based upon data provided by the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) and your grade level, we have determined that you may have received a total amount of undergraduate student loans that is close to or equal to the loan limits established for the federal loan programs. Therefore, your eligibility for additional student loans may be limited."

I've seen some actual numbers for loan amount limits too but the websites I've seen don't seem to be telling the whole story. They leave me with many question marks.
