I think that it has to do something with this time of year. It's a weirdly pervasive feeling that overcomes me, like some sort of anxiety that lagged from the carefree nature of the summer. In that story where the squirrel saves up everything and hides it for the winter, I can't really remember if it was a rabbit or some other woodland-y Mother ( Read more... )

Just make sure you wear extra padding. It's never too late to prepare. ^^

I'll wear 3 layers!! Thank you. Have you gotten ready for fall fashion? I heard from someone that earthy tones are in this year. I wonder if I'm wrong though...

You know, I'm not really sure. I usually tend to stick to monotone colors, haha. ^^; But the cordi unnies usually put me in something colorful, maybe I'll ask them next time.

That weird sort of anxiety feeling you get is something called Seasonal Affective Disorder, and whether or not it's something worth diagnosing, plenty of people get it around this time of year. It has something to do with less sunlight around this time of year, I think, among other things. I know I feel this way too often during the fall and winter.

2/5 SHINee still owes me a drink, by the way.

It's a disorder!? But I have a condition already... I don't know if I could live with having a disorder and a condition. But that makes sense. They say that sunlight makes you happier, promotes hair and nail growth, and makes digestion better, so I understand a lack of it could be a lot of trouble. I meant to say something on your post about how autumn is a time of reflection, because I really have to agree. I often find myself, right before falling asleep... right before my blanket eats me alive, wondering about people that have drifted away and how they're doing. Even people that haven't drifted, I think about the things I've done with them, and still think about their well-being.

And ah, well... pumpkin beer?

You might just be a very strange one then, Lee Jinki. Joke. ^^ Yes, I find myself thinking back on plenty of things during this time of year, I wonder if the lack of sunlight spurs contemplative thoughts as well. I'm curious to figure all of this out, now.

Pumpkin beer sounds interesting!
