I upgraded to Leopard a couple weeks ago and forgot to backup my iTunes playlists and stuff, so now I have to start all over making playlists and rating stuff.

Sorry to hear that.

I remember, 2 years ago, when I upgraded to Vista it was number one priority not to have my music database fucked with. I wanted to retain play counts, ratings, *everything*

It was a bitch to accomplish but it happened, after a few attempts.

i'm guessing you did an archive and install? is your old system folder or old itunes folder there?

I got Leopard through school and when they update our computers, they totally wipe them and start from scratch.
