I, along with many other disaffected TEL$TRA workers, am going to be on strike tomorrow (Tuesday 16th) till lunchtime. Free(?) doughnuts and posing for the Media in the Treasury Gardens near the Lansdowne entrance at about 10am.

I might get on telly in a crowd scene... if I can be bothered getting in that early. :)

Management walked out of EBA negotiations some time ago (a leak confirmed this was intended all along) and have been offering a take-it-or-leave-it "ECA" to selected small groups of employees which has a pay rise less than inflation, the addition of a second "B" class of employee fro new starters, and numerous small changes to existing working arrangements which make the conditions subject to managment discretion, along with removing any ability to bring disputes to third parties.

We're not happy.
