It's a small city between Richmond, VA and Washington, DC. Very pedestrian-friendly. I think it got a 98 on www.walkscore.com. It's small, but you can also take a commuter train to DC. Similarly, my job will be with the small office of a larger firm. So in many ways, I will have the best of both worlds.

Congrats, that's awesome! I have friends in Fredricksberg who are very cool with blindness as they've been exposed to a few in the NFB, if you should ever need any kind of emergency help. Or they would even be helpful to help get you oriented to the city as well. Either way just let me know.

Thanks. I know most of the Fredericksburg NFB peeps (I lived in Fredericksburg a few years ago and was actually chapter secretary for a brief time). I am looking forward to going back.
