discussing haiku.

I read some of it;
learned that what I'm doing now
doesn't qualify.

But as I'm not one
to strictly follow all rules,
I truly don't care.

Wills, trusts and estates
I took it this semester.
Final's on Friday.

Then I can focus
on my research paper for
Aging and the Law.

This paper will be
my one constant companion
through the holidays.

Well, that and coffee.
I got a Keurig Mini
Brewer for Christmas.

I plan to take it
to my office in Slaughter,
Where it's needed most.

It occurs to me
that Slaughter's a bad name for
Where finals happen.
