It just occurred to me that I don't really feel it's worth it to post quick little affirmations like, "wow, Porkuie, your writing is genius." I guess I have the impression that my friends know they're brilliant, or maybe I just feel incompetent answering brilliance with cerebral insipidity. Perhaps then, my friend, mighty ape, you should refrain from writing at all. Mustering up interesting thoughts is difficult enough, let alone racking up the discipline or courage to place them in a linear (or sub-atomic) fashion on a page, whether it be printed or appearing within the ethers of the internet.

For my part, I refuse to tell someone "your work is brilliant!" I would rather them slave to earn my praise, and once they have, they'll be so enticed by my words that they'll cherish the moment and offer to purchase myself and my cat a bucket of fried chicken.

It could also stem from the fact that I've been placed in a mental institution, and the only writer I know is Mr. Wild, who dresses up like a woman and has an imaginary band he calls "Kisses' Bitch."
