*sings*Let the EEEEE-agle soar!

One of the most impressive parts of Michael Moore's documentary was learning that John Ashcroft has such a wonderful voice. Seriously, did you hear it? Sure the song ws obnoxious, but his voice had this soft velvety tone to it that was really impressive-and a decent vocal range as well! I guess that's what you get from singing in church every ( Read more... )

Sure, but would Ashcroft be willing to sing Village People karaoke like Powell?

As for the game last night: *sigh*. It wouldn't hurt so much that they're sloppy if we didn't know the great things they could do. *sigh again* My mantra has been, "After the All-Star break...after the All-Star break...."

Man, those pictures are hilarious! Especially the one where he is singing while obviously reading the words off the littel prompter! Hahaha!

And as a side note, the past three games have gone really well, even though we lost two of them. I have hope, especially sine Theo is staring to make some moves on the bullpen!

On it it says "Continental Philosophy!" in a rainbow-like arc across the top and it has a guy pulling a rabbit out of a hat with the word "Shazaam!" below the graphic.

Oh, please, please make one of those for me!

I have an iron-on for a Kant t-shirt here, but I never ended up making it. I wanted to put, "Human reason is architectonic" on the back, in those funky German letters.

I'm glad you like the idea! I only wish that I actually made them myself! I outsource with cafepress.com, so this means that I end up paying for my own shirt. Oh well. When the graphic is finished, I'll let you know where you can view it.

Ashcrofts voice was certainly a shocker. He ought have a raspy, evil Emperor Palantine voice. Check out TNR.com's "Be Like Mike" for another liberal approach to Farenheit. I see the article's point, but I disagree with its measure of Moore's crafting of the film. I found it to be exeedingly well-crafted, but I am torn between endorsing it fully or decrying it as propogandist. One likes to avoid hypocricy.

it's nice to have that time frame...

what about "got hemlock?" I remember the drawing you drew of it that inspired the t-shirt. I wish i still had it, it was a really good drawing.

We both concluded the same thing at approximately the same time. You didn't by any chance have SBC for a landline down in Tenn, did you?

No, we had Bell South; even though SBC was $2 cheaper every month the cost of switching was too high. Why do you ask?

I'm off to Cooperstown this weekend with my dad, but we'll be back on Sunday night. This is the week you are coming in, right? I'll send you an e-mail with my digits. (if you're on Sprint we can talk for free!)

SBC was raping me about twelve bucks more a month in MI than I was forking over to Bell Atlantic in RI. This made a cellphone with a LD plan either the same price as a landline or a couple bucks cheaper, so I said shrug and switched.

Be sure to spend some time at the lake in Cooperstown -- its blue! I'm going to spend a while longer in KC and rest my muscles before I fly back to MI and work on organizing myself for the DNC, so expect some sort of definitive travel schedule in ten days or so. Check your mail for my digitz.
