hrm. I find it odd that Kerry's running for president is also his wife running for president. I'm intrigued as to why that matters and why it needed to be mentioned. Is this the beginning of the ketchup era of the US?
Think about how Hillary's persona hurt Clinton in the first battle against Bush (and then whose forgiveness proved so important for so many during the monica fiasco), and how Elizabeth Dole would be an asset compared to, say, another wooden Dole-bot. Both women went on to the senate. I think there is an increasing perception that the first lady (or hopefully one day, first gentleman) is actually part of the ticket, bringing something with her as opposed to just being the candidate's wife.
