I changed the ending to the Rodin, Art, and Me entry from a few days ago.

Studying is not going well. The test is Friday. All I can think about is art and emotion, not ethics. Do I care? No. Does this frighten me? Yes.

i had dinner tonite with a friend of mine who teaches theater to the inmates of Sing Sing. one of the men told her that before he started acting in her productions he believed that
#1 all people were basically bad
#2 violent action was his only reaction
now after being involved in acting he has come to realize that
#1 all people have the potential to be good
#2 he has an obligation to look for the good in them
#3 there are infinite number of possible reactions to other peoples' actions
