*whimper* That one hurt. *clings to Sam-n-Dean* It will be all right though; Dean will figure it out.

*wry smile* Maybe he and Bobby can fix him up with a silver plated prosthetic that shoots Holy Water out of its index finger and has a flame-thrower in the middle one. *sad laughter*

Glad you liked it! Dean fixes everything, doesn't he :)
Haha, that second part sounds like crack!fic. Crossover with Inspector Gadget perhaps? I don't know if that will ever happen. We shall see where the muse takes me.

Good things are worth waiting for. *grabs cushion & curls up by inbox*

btw, ever seen Grindhouse? :DDD
I think Cherry Darling and Sam teaming up to rescue Dean would be epic. Especially if Sam met Cherry during his soulless days, so Dean had neer laid eyes on her before the rescue.

Oh, my!

This! Totally worth the wait! I love the scene with Sam all relaxed, his guard down, and Chet surprising him. Love you had him all tied up and suffering while Chet played at being him with Dean.

And Dean! You really caught that edge of despair mood of hisin season 7, and oh, what guilt! Killing Amy behind Sam's back so he wasn't there watching Sam's back!

I am sooooooo for a sequel if you're in the mood. These boys need some serious rest and recovery with Bobby, and I've missed me some Bobby these eps after his death. How would Sam's handicap change what's to follow for them?

Thank you so much for this. It's fantastic!

Yay! I am so happy you liked it! I had a lot of fun writing it and there were definitely things that happened that surprised me. I am not sure how soon a sequel would be in the works simply because I have a couple of other projects I am working on but I definitely would be open to revisiting this scenario, especially for some Bobby. I actually originally planned on having Bobby appear in this fic because I miss him too, but then it just made more sense to hold off on that for a bit and make it simply about the brothers and their relationship. Thanks for reviewing!

Looking back at my comment, I didn't even mention how much I loved, loved, LOVED that you brought Lucifer into it and how Sam's insanity came into play when he couldn't press his scar to ground himself in reality. That scene with Lucifer detailing taking Sam apart bit by bit...whoa! And that wonderful connecting scene with Dean and Sam afterwards. So necessary!

I agree with you on keeping the focus on the brothers, but yeah, I wouldn't say no to another fic in this universe no matter when you get around to it. As you've proven, you're worth waiting for. ;-)

Aw thanks! You've given me the warm fuzzies :D
The whole Lucifer thing wasn't planned at all. It was just I was sitting and thinking on my couch about something else show related and I was trying to remember which hand the scar was on and then it was like a lightbulb in my head. It's on his left hand...I cut off his left arm! SAMMY, NO! And then I had to write it.
By the way, I love your icon. I like to quote Whedon in my fics. I realized I didn't this time around, but I quoted Dr. Horrible in a few others.
