While researching (again) for information on the Gay social scene in N. ireland (practically non-existent!!) I have been coming across articles and other information on what certain (narrow-minded)people who are in positions of power in this country feel about the LGBTT community......I don't have time to put them behind the cut so you get them in

I know exactly what you are feeling. I started feeling like that when I read the Republican Party Manifesto...which basically said that homosexuals were perverted deviates who should be kept far, far away from children. (even advocating only supervised, limited visitation rights to their own biological children.)

It totally amazes me how much hatred there is toward someone just because they love one of the same sex. I wish people would look at me as a person - not just what I do occasionally in the bedroom. (Why do they seem to think that we are constantly having sex, thinking about having sex, wishing we were having sex, or drooling over ANYONE who is the same sex we are?

I recently told Vic that - logically I know it can't happen...but I can't help but fear that we may start being given the same treatment Jews (and homosexuals too) were given in Germany during the Holocaust. Some days it feels very scary. (So someone quick - tell me why I chose this lifestyle.)
