ok so i went to Paul Smith's College of the Adirondacks on...yesterday.  the 8th.  i think.  anyways.  it's a really small school, only 800-830 "degree seeking undergrads"as collegeboard.com loves to say.  it's a B-E-A-U-TIFUL campus.  it's not a traditional college, you know brick walls and ivy and such.  it's in the adirondack style, with lots of ( Read more... )

haha....the college is fairly small but they own a big section of the park. i think they said....14,200 acres. all all of is used for classes, field work, recreation, and a small park of it houses the school. it looked more like a campsite than a college to me. so far it's my first choice. it's so beautiful up there.

how many students does oberlin have again? at least oberlin has a town around it...Paul Smith's is 15 minutes from the closest town. and it takes about the same time to get from there to Albany as it does to get from there to Montreal (i don't think i spelled that right.)

i thought id like it, then not like it when sullivan came. i didnt like how he taught but i think its just the situation he was thrown into. the info was really good though. id like to make a career outta it, but i dont know if i will or not. i know that im changing little things about everyday living though- recycling more, trying to use less energy, etc. yes.

I would like you to know how distressed I am that you were that far into the adirondacks,, and didn't come and visit me, but that is okay, anyway did they still have the "wetland" roped off in front of the library???? they did when i visited last summer it was like a dirty spot on the lawn, with a flower in it, it was quite commical, and just out of curiosity, what are you planning on studying there?

umm...no now it's more of a big spot of lawn with what loks like weeds. i don't think it was really wet but it was roped off.

i'd be studying something that in their recreation department. still haven't decided on that though. but right now it is my first choice for colleges.
