Part of my Special Elementary Education for Disabled Children final paper, is to think about what advantages we have as able bodied citizens. I thought it was an interesting list that I took a long time thinking about and I thought I'd share it

i loved this post.reminds me of this article i read by a woman discussing race and how white people have all kinds of advantages that they don't even realize. my sister is mentally disabled and so it's nice to see people understanding what they have to go through.

for sure. my cousin mindy is too and i love her to death. i cried so hard ta her batmitzvah. *tear*. it was nice to learn about how to include all ability levels in my future classroom.
