So...voodoo, darkness, demons...rocks fall, everyone dies?  The QT Blog Chain was started by yours truly here, so follow the link to read through the answers to:

Great topic and wrap-up! It gave me a lot to think about.

I still squirm inside when I think about "torturing" my characters, but I have definitely put them in situations where they feel horrible and uncomfortable. I'm sure I could go deeper, though.

I love that you asked: "How much of that world you put on the page is a mirror?" Certainly there is endless inspiration to be found in our own lives, even if it's painful to go there.
