The funeral home let us come see Papa tonight. It was a small gathering of my Meemaw, Aunt Diane, cousin Lara, Dad, Moona, Ivie, and me. I sobbed my eyes out and was the only one to do so. I'm so sorry. and the customer was very right in that your grief is part of your love. it's sweet he had ivy by him.

thanks. It's been so hard this past week and a half. Now he's buried and he can only be a memory. It's something very difficult to process.

It's been hard on all of us, but I think I've shown it the most. I wear my heart on my sleeve and don't know how to hide it. Plus, it's unhealthy to do so...so I just let it be.

People grieve in different ways. I did really well at my Grandma's funeral until one song, I have no recollection of the song, and then I lost it. There is nothing wrong with crying for a good reason and losing someone is the ultimate reason to cry.
