Just remember that when you have a zillion parents and school administration jumping down your throat about why your kids aren't doing well in school, it's his fault for passing "No Child Left Behind." Not that you're kids won't be doing well...but you're not responsible for them when they're not with you (i.e. you can't be responsible for their home environment) and the idiot thinks they should be. Sorry, I don't like the man...never have. You're not a bad person or anything because you do...
And you're a teacher...and you support Bush. Interesting. So do you support NCLB? Not that either way is wrong, but it would certainly be a different viewpoint from the one to which I am accustomed.
I think that it's a good idea to try to help kids be successful but this plan definitely won't work and is not helping. I don't support NCLB. I support the idea behind it, but there's no funding and what good is that? After schools keep improving each year what in the heck do they do after they hit 100%? Seems confusing to me.
yeah, those motorcades are fierce. didn't get to meet the president ever, but freshman year of college chelsea clinton dated this guy at oberlin. one time she visited him and the secret service people were everywhere. imagine speeding police cars in a town about the size of decorah. crazy!
