Sounds like your mother has a very funny personality. Did she have that very dumb doe eyed look in her face when she asked what a Ninja was? I can almost picture it... I love those conversations with my parents. I would keep them too.

Don't get me wrong. I love my mom. She's just a little odd and occasionally more naive than I can keep a straight face through.

Oh my god. That was great. You know, when you share things like that, I'm glad your mom is the way she is - it brightens up my day:)

Oh, and I thought I should just point out to you that you made a mistake in this post and you know that because it's you I have to correct it:D

So at lunch, she sad down a HUGE cup of lukewarm water in front of me and wouldn't let me leave the table until I had drunk all of it.

I think it probably was meant to be "sat" in place of "sad".
