Shocker of the weekend: I still know all the lyrics to "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town", and so did everyone else in the park. Seriously, it was like the "Day-O" scene in Beetlejuice.

Personally, it's not that surprising to me, but then again, I think I had the same reaction when I saw PJ at Pine Knob in 2003.

Yeah, but that was full of Pearl Jam fans. This was full of random people who were at Lolla. And I was sitting very far away, and everyone around me still knew the lyrics. So it wasn't like the die-hard people. It was 1.5-2 football fields back.
