So, the Today's Papers article from yesterday.

Article title: "Murmurs of a Reckoning"
Page title: "Is Petraeus out of time for his fables of the reconstruction?"

Nicely played.

Reckoning is my favorite. I have a soft spot for the now out of print Chronic Town.

I like everything up to and including New Adventures in Hi-Fi, though the favorite album rotates. I rarely listen to them anymore, but I listened to little else from 13 to 15.

Have you heard the song "Unseen Power of the Picket Fence" by Pavement? It involves Stephen Malkmus yelling song titles from Reckoning.

I'm not sure I've ever heard Pavement, but the description makes me think of "Martin Scorsese" by King Missile. A real gem, that one.

Buh... buh... but you lived in northern California between 1991 and 1999, if I am not mistaken! Do you not like the indie rock? It's okay if you don't like the indie rock, I should just be aware of that, so I never ask you things like "What's your favorite Yo La Tengo album?".
