FAQ
A few questions have come up, so I thought I'd address them here. :D
What is pixel text and how does it differ from boxes?
→ Pixel text is usually a font that is use for the letters on blinkies. Confusing? Yeah, probably. XD There are a few different ways to do pixel text, and I don't do it often, because I just don't like the way it looks. :)
Here are some recent examples of pixel text that I made:
(This is generally classified as a "tiny" blinkie.)
(The "fly away with me" is the pixel text.)
Boxes are pretty self-explanatory. They're squares (usually) with pixel text IN them.
What are the different kinds of offers/blinkies?
→Gallery blinkies are HERE at my gallery. It's a collection of blinks I've made in the past that others can request either for a small fee or when I open the gallery for freebies. It often contains blinkies I've offered in the past and wish to hold on to.
→Pixel-to-Blinkies (P2B's) are blinkies where the requester provides a freeware pixel (from pixelpeach, pixelslikewhoa, sayclubsandmore or similar) and I make a specialized blinkie out of it! Sometimes those go on to become gallery offerings, but only if I have permission from the requester first. P2B's take a lot more work than gallery blinkies (which are premade), and I rarely offer them.
Do you require credit? How is that different from allowing people to steal?
→ I don't require credit and I doubt I ever will. I make blinkies and icons and headers and...well, everything, for FUN. It's just fun! I can't claim to own the pixels I use. All I do is edit them. :D FOR FUN. Stealing is flat out saying YOU made something I made. That is beyond not cool. That is a bannable offense from every community I own or have power over (and that's quite a few!). If you have any further questions on credit or stealing, be sure to read this entry.
Who do you make for? Where can I use your blinkies?
→ I will put any name on anything. I don't care where you use it or who it's for. :) Again, it's for fun. I just like making them. I'll also do my best to accomodate special requests, like making a single blinkie into a couple's blinkie.
When can I request? How many items can I request?????
→ I tend to offer 3 or 4 freebies at once - you can request ALL of them, if you so choose! I like getting and filling requests, so request away! Don't worry about being greedy, but PLEASE take the time to read the form when filling it out.
What are paid requests and how do I get my hands on some?
→ Paid requests are blinkies (or sigs) that you may have missed out on that you're willing to pay for. Everything in my gallery is available for purchase. I also offer "surprise" blinkies (made from a combo of freeware or paid pixels, depending on what strikes my fancy) and tabs.
What is a tab and how does it work?
→ Rather than saying "I want these 15 blinkies right now!", I offer a tab service where you can put, say $5 down at a time and pick your blinkies at your leisure. The money WILL have an expiration date of 6 months. At that time, you will get a refund for whatever you haven't purchased.
