Last night I played The Darkness, which is a 1st Person Shooter. I have played many of these type of games, however, last night I got very sick from playing the game

I have never experienced motion sickness from a game. But I suppose it's possible, if you were really into the game, and it had a lot of strange visual effects. I don't know, since I've never played that game. But I have heard of it, and it does sound like a lot of fun.

But it's more likely to be due to something else. Maybe you have a cold, or ate some bad food? Or maybe you were on some drugs? I don't think you do drugs, though.

I'm guessing if it was because I was sitting too close to the TV. Though, I didn't think I was.

yeah, you can get motion sickness from fps games, apparently it's the cited reason fps games are not popular with asians (no, i don't know how it works either)

it's only happened to me once, though, after a long period of not playing any...

also the darkness may be based on a comic, but it's not worth reading, trust me

I laugh. But, probably the best thing about the game is how closely the story-line is to the comic...at least the first one....later on Jackie get's completely transformed.

what I don't get is he tries to get rid of the darkness and then he takes it back again.
