so i feel kind of solicitous writing this entry here, but nonetheless, i shall. i wanted to write and let yall know about what's going on with my little sister. she's 19 and a freshman at K-state. she had anorexia really bad for a number of years as an adolescent, and then was "okay" for the last 4 years. but she has now relapsed into anorexia ( Read more... )

My aunt nancy is doing much better. we thought she might have to go back into the hospital for a while because of an infection, but antibiotics kicked its ass. i don't know when she'll be starting chemo. but in the next month. thanks to all for thoughts and prayers.

unfortunately, i just got a call from my mom, and they did find cancer in my aunt's lymph nodes. So she'll have to go through Chemo again.

This makes me very sad and overwhelmed. Please continue to pray for her- her name is Nancy by the way.

My aunt goes in to have her mastectomy on Monday. The cancer that they found was, obviously, malignant, but it was also very small, and near the surface, and therefore easier to treat. She will find out if it went into her lymph nodes later on tomorrow. We are hopeful, since it was small and not far into the breast. But if it has spread into ( Read more... )

My Aunt Nancy and i have become very close since i moved back to Kansas City- i tell her just about everything, she listens, and she tells me just about everything in her life as well. We have a great time living together. We are very good friends, and i love her so dearly ( Read more... )
