On a side note (and a far less serious one in the spirit of moving on):

a) I did not know the boy's name was Matt
b) On a more ironic note, that his name is Matt and he has big size 14 feet. hmmmm.... maybe a quality that accompanies a name?
c) To hear a certain Leanne Cardwell talk of spending every night in a boy's room was nothing short of a catch-me-off-guard moment

haha, thanks Annie. I will keep all of your comments in mind. Hank also wrote a version of this event. Maybe, with his permission, I will post the two side-by-side. :D

when you say that hank wrote a version of this event you mean, he wrote a version of you and the boy with large feet slow-dancing in a hawaiian bedroom? because i was already creeped out with the imagery of michael stipe lurking in the corner while you danced, now i have to throw hank into the opposite corner, with a notepad in hand?

nah, he just wrote a different version of the same story. And his didn't involve michael stipe.
