Most of us grew up believing that popcorn comes out of a bag that you put in the microwave. I don't have a microwave in my new apartment. Recently I've figured out that real popcorn is so stupidly easy to make that no one should ever have to eat that microwaved junk with fake butter and teflon. You can also buy a hot air popper for 10 bucks, melt some butter, and voila!

I have the worlds cheapest hot air popper and when it comes near the end all the kernels start flying all over the kitchen and my dogs go leaping up in the air to catch the popcorn, it's funny as hell to watch.

Those things are pretty neat too, but I don't eat popcorn enough to justify keeping it in my kitchen... Maybe when I have a kitchen larger than a hallway :-D
