Trying new foods

Hi friends,

I had so much fun at the grocery store!  My wallet took a real hit of course, but I gotta do something to spice up my diet.

Have I mentioned that I'm going on a diet (or rather, I should say changing my lifestyle, but who are we kidding?  Oreos were created for me!).  Dieting and exercising are some of the side affects of booking a ( Read more... )

That oatmeal looks really good, but I don't have any chunks of pumpkin, just canned pumpkin. I wonder if it would work?

Good for you for getting up at 5 AM! That is an amazing amount of willpower. I think I could only manage that if I didn't go to sleep at all.

One of my favourite places to get recipes is allrecipes.com. They have a low cal/healthy eating section as well.

One of the best things I made was Cajun Pasta. I made my own Cajun seasoning, but you could buy it from the store.

That slow cooker oatmeal looks delish!!!! And yay for exercising and taking care of yourself. I'm joining a gym through work and hopefully going to exercise over my lunch hour - we'll see how that works. :P
