It's in the book of Acts at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples as they were praying and the church was born. 3000 people were saved when Peter and the other apostles then preached to the Jews gathered in Jerusalem for the feast. What's neat is that in comparison 3000 people died when the law was given on Mount Sinai.
