Okay so me and a good friend of mine.. ;).. got into this discussion about Iraq and the war, and what us being over there is accomplishing, if anything.. and blah blah.. so anyway. I'm sure many Iraqis are much happier now. And then, I'm sure some aren't. What pisses me off is the pretense on which we invaded Iraq, namely that Saddam had WMD and that we knew their "exact locations" (Rumsfeld and Powell). Bah!

I agree.. the bullshit reason Bush came up with to go into Iraq in the first place was pretty lame. I mean.. have we even found anything yet? But the fact that we did get rid of Saddam was a plus.. I just think they need to decide what they're going to do and get out of there..

If only it were that easy. We're there, now. And if you think anti-Americanism is rampant now, imagine what it'd be like if we just pulled out without actually fixing anything. "Sorry guys, we demolished your old government, but we're too cheap to put a new one in place for you. Good luck on the whole reconstruction thing, though." Yeah. That'd go over well.

yeah, my grandparents sent me that email. how come we only hear bad things about it on the news? and honestly, i don't care if we are doing good things over there.. personally, i think we need to get our army back here. i guess we know why i think that though. :\. its too dangerous for us to be over there and we don't want our people to die... or at least i don't.

i dont know you but i thought i just might write on her. well i know some peeps over in iraq and i think they should come home, but i guess they have to do what thaey have to do. well yes its stupid for keeping them over there and nothing is getting accomplised but they should come home becasue the more they stay over there the more american people are dying. yeah they are blowing stuff up but what are the iraqis doing to us? ya know. they just need to get out of there becasue the iraqis arent appreciating anything. we keep rebuilding, but everything keeps getting blown up again and at the rate everything is going it doesnt look like anything is getting accomplished. and beside it doesnt look like the iraqis want us over there anyway. bye just thought i might voice a little of mah opinion!
