Bill & Hillary are worth $100 million. You really think they were going to substantially raise taxes on the wealthy? Obama will, McCain won't. Thus, de Rothschild goes there. *shrugs* That seems the most likely scenario to me.

Wouldn't surprise me if you were right. Still, I would figure if you were a rich person, you'd be contributing money and trying to be a big deal in the RNC, not the DNC. After all, you'd be just about guaranteed that every candidate your party might turn out would not raise your taxes. So why go with the DNC in the first place? I guess she liked the idea of helping Hillary win the White House, and didn't really care about the policies that Hillary would have tried to enact once she got there.
