In all honesty, I think you need to find someone else who fits more appropriately with your lifestyle. If you think of him mostly as a babysitter, then something's not right.
Also, I have a feeling Josh wouldn't be into poly. Call it a hunch, but any guy can deal with their girl going with another: it's when it's with another guy that it tends to go badly. Methinks you need to find a proper guy.
