I LOVE THIS. I've often wondered what those first few months at Harvard without Mark might've been like for Eduardo, and you captured the moment beautifully - the longing, the fear of being left behind... my heart was breaking for him.

He probably wouldn’t be where he is now, in love with the least sentient person on the planet.
^ this line killed me. Eduardo, just tell him! ahhhh but anyway...
this is so good, you capture Eduardo's voice so perfectly and just sdgkjsgdfhdfhl. I really can't deal with much more Mark/Eduardo fic, pretty soon I'm gonna start trailing rainbows behind me everywhere-
but anyway, this is amazing. Thank you!

For me, Mark's not the least sentient as he's actually trying to get him back. He's not able to cajole, yes, but he tells Wardo he want to have him closer and... I don't know, maybe Wardo's too sick of his dependence to be convenient. But it's not about Mark, and it's not Mark's fault.
There are people we should left (behind or ahead) for good. Even if it hurts as fuck.
