To start the New Year, Uncle Steve on first floor has started drama. Mega drama. The threatening to bash in his elderly mother's (my Vavo) head in, along with my mother's. Well, it looks like Tia Natalia's son doesn't want cats. She may try working on him to give in, but yeah.

We also have a few family friends checking around for us as well.

So why haven't they called the police and/or a domestic violence shelter? Restraining order and/or search warrant is not out of the question in these circumstances.

Vavo is really dumb and it costs money in MA to make those things happen. It's not unusual to see a month long wait for a restraining order to be officiated.

*shrug* Well, it takes a lot of money to move, too. More than a restraining order, would be my guess.

Well, this is the thing in being a Portuguese family. Mom and Vavo came off the boat. My grandfather used to beat her, and it's a general idea that men are the biggest thing since slice bread. Calling the cops would be tantamount to betraying your son.
