I think i could say i'm slowly getting to this point with my dad. The only love that's really left is the love of a daughter to her father, not a person willingly wanting to love another person. You and your mom have gone through this forever, and thank Miles for me for sticking up for you. Your mom was raised in a different time, she's much older and probably will never understand people this age you know? I hope that you and your grandma get to spend as much time as possible for the remainder of her life. It is really important and i hope i do the same with my grandparents.
:) Thanks for the encouraging words. It's just sad when someone pushes you away, especially when it's at the point where you don't want their attention anymore. I hope you and your dad fix things because you've been dealing with his shit for a long time too, but things do hit an end where you can't tolerate it anymore, even if it takes your entire life. In our case, 23 years lol.
