Man, what a busy week. Last week, I mean. Dad went to North Carolina for work, and recruited me to go to his house every day and watch his cats. It wasn't as bad as it sounds, because for one, I love cats. Also, Jamie came by and kept me company for a couple of the days. It's so weird to think of her as someone's wife now. You know, I think you're right. Painted turtles have the markings on their underbellies, right?

Not sure about that. I can tell by the shape of the shell and the markings. High dome with bright colors. We've had one at the AQ for a while. I named her Darth Maul years ago when we got her. The name hasn't stuck yet.

You're sweet. I'm learning to accept my gut, as I think I'm genetically hardwired to never get rid of it (thanks a lot, Mom).
BTW, since I never replied to that last thread, my aunt and uncle are Rob and Patti Stonier, they've lived in that house on 3rd Avenue since they got married in the 80's. I personally think Hawthorne's a neat place. Having grown up in Jackson (a town with absolutely nothing to do--and don't give me that crap "oh, but what about Great Adventure?" I worked there a few summers, and I'm kinda sick of the place. Plus, it's expensive. anyways...), I love towns that have lots of stuff in them. Plus, it's close to other towns with lots of stuff.
