I'm sorry to hear that people are freaking out on your religious choices. After getting saved last year a lot of friends have slowly worked themselves back into the wood work, scared I'm going to judge them or freak out like those awful protestors...

People fear what they don't know, people fear being out of control, and people fear something that their not willing to give a chance. I know that's how I felt before hand, I don't think everyone else is wrong, I don't know what is wrong but I know this. God is the all mighty, he is everything and really what it comes down to is believing that Jesus Christ was your Savior and follow the top 2 commandments. That's from the horses mouth.

Anyway you and your family have been in my prayers and I sincerely hope things get better for you.

while I know what you mean and completely symathize, you do generalize a bit....I'm the most irreligious person you could come across, but I don't throw it in anyone's face. Unless they happen to be a gay Southern Baptist or Mormon, maybe. ...In which case they deserve it.

I myself am Wiccan, but i have TOTAL respect for other religions. We all have the freedoms to choose what we believe, but we also have to watch and make sure we don't cross boundaries to offend someone else. Sometimes it's impossible to not offend someone, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be sympathetic.
