You probably know this, but R and L translate to the same sound in Japanese. Translating back you just pick one. So in the kana, "refleshing" is actually the correct transliteration--someone just picked the wrong one when rewriting it in English.
And, mere minutes after reading this, I found myself in a waiting room with a Smithsonian magazine containing an article describing a 55ft cast-iron statue of Vulcan's calves as "brobdingnian."... I think.
Now whelmed, to the power of several prepositions, with self-doubt. Maybe it wasn't.... see what happens when I meet a new word that I feel like I should already know? That's why a large vocabulary is important. Fewer intimidating words lurking in alley ways.
So, er, I guess the earth is still in orbit n' stuff.
