Spelled M E L L O. From what I've been told, I've been to this hellhole before, not that I remember shit. Ergo, I want to know what I was up to, in text and coherently. People, places, whatever the hell happened. Not that hard. And something about an expedition.

Hilda got some chocolate--you'd have to ask her nice, but I don't think she minds giving some away.

As for monsters, don't try eating the dogs on the street. The bats are fine for meat though. There's moobots at the edge of the city--they probably have a real name, but I don't remember what it is, they just moo like cows. There's--well, hey, I could just show you . Monsters that hide themselves as barrels, giant man-eating plants, sounds like you already know about the nurses. The kraken got hunted down, but you still can't go in the lake.

... What's this Hilda look like, and how do I get in contact with her?

Eating... no, thanks. Although I'll probably end up eating bat bacon sometime at this rate. This is pathetic. ... Moobots. What do they look like.

--Jesus. What's wrong with the lake besides the ex-sea monster?

She's got short blond hair, pointy ears and teeth. She's a vampire, but she can eat regular food too so she's not dangerous. Her frequency's pretty_thorns. And we're both at Latimir, we're roommates.

The moobots are these really big--bigger than a person--robots on two legs. The legs make up most of the height. And the lake, well...this one nutcase experimented on himself, turned into a freak of nature, died in the lake, and apparently what he put in his body might have messed up the water. I don't know what they expect it'd do, but the scientists were worried enough to put up fences, so I wouldn't try it.

A vamp-- Latimir. Right. That's convenient, where in the building are you?

So they're just really fucked up robots? No lasers or anything? And not that I'm going to drink the water or stupid shit like that, but nobody's tried anything with it since?

First floor, just right of the stairwell.

The moobots have a gun on top of them. And the thing with the lake was kind of recent, a little over a week ago. Don't think anyone's gotten enough interest to mess with it.

All right. I'll drop by at some point.

... And the city's already low on supplies? How many of you are there?

I keep hearing a little over a hundred, but when people come and go and you don't hear from others for weeks...who knows for sure.

Food started running low a few days before the lake got contaminated. But, there was a rain of food recently, so I think we should be all right for a while.

So people do filter out pretty regularly. There's no pattern?

--Rain of...? All that talk about shit falling out of the sky?

Well, actually--there is something kinda funny.

Far as I know, there's been four people from my world and time here. Guess what? We all knew each other before we'd got here. I mean, with worlds full of people out there, how do the scientists keep getting people who already know each other if it's just random? So even though I haven't heard of anyone on your list, I wouldn't be too surprised if they popped up eventually.

Yeah, sometimes stuff comes from the sky. Happened right after I got here a few months ago. This time we got food, and some people found belongings from their worlds here.

... Good point. That is a pretty big coincidence if your world's anything like mine. Pretty big? Talk about a ridiculous coincidence.

Raining food. That doesn't sound suspicious at all. As L would say, the chance of this being a coincidence just went down below 1%. Heh.
