That was a better show and dine than I expected from this place. Over the top, but that part wasn't a surprise. If you take into account the people in it and the subject of the song. Shit, I can't stop humming it.

They're about common as any other monster we've killed a thousand times over. We come back to life, they come back to life, I guess.

Discedo was wiped out by the Atropos Virus. Which is apparently still contaminating everything through the air, but the scientists finally made the shots for it last spring, gave it to all of us, and I think they just give it to everyone new who comes in. It makes your organs melt, you cough for about two weeks, and then you die. When it first had its second spread last January, it was pretty awful.

How the buildings got all wrecked we don't know. But there was this virus, I think it got started in the fish, the city closed off some sick people in the subway, some people went crazy and rioted and murdered other people like this one cop man, there must have been explosions too or something, going by looks of things...and thats about all we know.

How much time was there between the first and second appearances of the virus? And how much of all this happened after this 'kidnapping people in' business started?

Not sure. The newspapers had dates, I think, but someone else found those...maybe boy_fatality. Harry Mason's been around here first, I think. Which is about to come up on a year. The Virus got spread out...about two weeks after I showed up here, which was back last winter.

Yeah, they got hit by the explosions in June, when the big Chimeras came out. Used to be people living on all five floors, but then it caved in.

Harry was too attached to leave the place completely behind.
