The chip malfunction is old news; I'm more interested in the sky. Did anyone get a recording of that on their communicator or snap a picture or something? I don't remember the exact moment all that well ( Read more... )

WHOA WE'RE JUST GETTING ANIME FAGGOTS LEFT AND RIGHT. I think I saw a fat chick cosplay you once. It was pretty fucking accurate.

I think people were a little less concerned about the strobe light sky and a little more with the whole "I'VE BECOME SO NUUUUUUMB" shit.

You're kidding me, right I didn't need to know that.

Yeah, well, there were also all these people yelling about their brains still working. If they can post that much shit while they're numb, they can at least figure out what fucked up the sky.

I have much worse ♥

YOU KINDA FAIL AT UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE. Example:

It's Friday fucking morning. what will you be doing at this time:

a) Sleeping
b) Working
c) Trying not to get fucked up by some monster
d) GOLLY GANG, LOOKS LIKE WE'VE GOT A MYSTERY TO SOLVE. QUICK, TO THE MYSTERY MOBILE!

I for one was passed out until noon. I woke up, and oh, all my anger and desire to laugh at all of the retarded shitheads here was sort of gone. First thing that comes to mind: what the fuck. Not OH SHIT DISCEDO JUST TURNED INTO A RAVE.

...I bet if I were normal that would be my first thought though.

The sky is easy to explain it was a kekkai of some sort obviously. But the sky isn't half as important as loved ones loosing their soul for two days!

... A protective ward? That's a pretty damn big one, and what makes you think scientists would use some random bit of Japanese folklore?

Nobody lost their soul.

Large ones can be created with some effort and skill. Why shouldn't they? Other cultures have similar things, barriers and seals and the like.

Everyone sure was acting like they had! No personality, no emotions, like a possessed soul.

Elements of folklore, assuming they exist, are rooted in tradition and ritual. So unless they fucked around with the kekkai until it was unrecognizable, they're going to end up with someone sooner or later who could take it into their own hands, or at least know the theory behind it.

Ever thought that maybe they were just brainwashed? What are you, some sort of occultist?

So I'm not the only one trying to look a little deeper into the recent events.

Good to know.

There are plenty of people looking. Just depends on which of us are looking in the right direction.

Most of them seem to be more concerned with eliminating the symptoms rather than finding out the cause behind it.

That seems to be the general M.O. around here.

... Yeah, the sky? Flickering, dimming, lights show, whatever the hell else it's been described as. Over the weekend.

We're not natives! There are no natives! Who the hell are we supposed to ask? There's no telling how old the books and papers are.
