Day 26 - Best voice acting: Final Fantasy XII wins this one for me. For me, it's one of the only FF games with consistently good English voice acting. I'm not a dub snob; if it's good, I'll happily watch it or a subbed version. The FF series hasn't had the best track record with it's English VAs, though. As much as I love Yuna, her voice actress still makes me cringe. Mena Suvari as Aerith made me long for Mandy Moore. I could go on, but the point is really that the team responsible for both Tactics and XII did an amazing job with the English voice acting. Even Vaan, who I think is the weakest voice actor of the main cast in XII, was still decent aside from being incapable of any variation in the tone of his voice. Balthier was awesome. Ashe did her angry revolutionary princess job well. Basch was great.
The Final Fantasy Tactics remake was a pretty close second.
Phil LaMarr, aka - Hermes Conrad, was Ramza, and I thought he was a damn good one. Hedy Burress decided she could voice act after all and made a decent Agrias... I don't think it was quite as awesome as XII, but they did a nice job compared to other FF titles.
