So very tired. I need to remember this day when I don't want to go to bed at 10 and end up passing out in my computer chair watching How I Met Your Mother ( Read more... )

I wish I could offer more than internet support.

What I always remind myself is that it's about lifestyle - I'll be the first one to admit my body type is the one that'll survive a famine, but that being said I incorporate those factors into my lifestyle. Enough about me, though - I know it's hard, but write out your goal, when you want to achieve pound 1, 2, or whatever thing you want to measure it by, and then that way it seems tangible, rather than, "I want this and I know it'll take a long time."

I appreciate it. You always comment with very helpful advice whenever I'm whining about this. XD I need to find a way to get more energy, which I hear exercise helps with. Which is one of the hardest parts of all this for me.

*giant hugs*

Honestly, anyone that claims losing weight is easy is full of shit. It's hard, and it sucks, and it requires literally changing your lifestyle permanently to make it work ( ... )

Thanks very much for all the tips. I think both sleep and finding something I find fun will help. Maybe I could get bikes for Duncan and I, but then I'd also need a bike rack. hnnnnngh

If it's something you like doing, it's worth the cost. Actually, if you start biking and really like that, I think it's ultimately a way to save money if you can get yourself, say, biking to work or doing your trips to the grocery store that way. Because then it saves gas. ^_^

I'm not a real trainer and I am not sure what you are doing but I'm going to put my 2 cents in here. "Dieting" is the wrong way to do it. When you diet aka starve your body, your body's metabolism slows down. Making it harder and harder to lose more weight. The other downside is when you stop dieting after hitting your target, you go right back up. No point in it if to keep your form, you have to punish yourself or deny yourself all the things that you love ( ... )

I've totally fallen off the wagon and need to get back into it. Probably by walking slowly first, etc. Let me know if you want to meet up for that. I need someone to push me too!!!!
