The last FIVE years I've worked in retail the day after Thanksgiving. I've slaved for longer than 8 hr shifts and had to smile the entire time.

This year I'm doing something TOTALLY different with my Black Friday...

I'M GOING SHOPPING!

First stop? Lilly Pulitzer for some free monogramming. After that, who knows!!

I'm glad I didn't have to wake up this morning and go deal with harrid customers like the past few years either. After a Black Friday at Circuit City, there's NOTHING that will get me back into retail again :)

meee too! I will never work another register in my life! In other news, I was one of like 10 people in Lilly the entire time I was there so it wasn't bad. Park Ave was busy, but not even the mall was really packed. I was never more than 2 people back in line.
