2012 Goals

So I'm making this promise to myself, as crazy as it is, to try to do something for all of 2012. That crazy plan is this: No new clothing (Unless somehow sent to me via magical fairy!) for the entire year (Minus necessities ( Read more... )

It doesn't sound absurd, G. I completely agree, and one of my goals for 2012 is actually to do more with less. I don't spend much money as it is except on books and video games, but I feel like it's the random purchases that need to just stop happening. It's because you're a "G"...see, you just get it ^^ I'm thankful that you agree & am happy to hear you're on the same path yourself! We can help each other out through them tough times! ;)

I am so guilty of "Oh hey look, this is on sale, let's get it" Sometimes I stop myself and realize what I'm doing but it's soooooooooooo easy to get sucked into it. Also very guilty of the "I've had a bad day so let's buy ____" Err. How about, stop being such a child? haha

Btw - the member of your fashion club comment made me laugh a looot...I love you Griff! No worries, I have lots of fashions...some I never wear! Eep! I will revive them and you will love them...love theeemmm!!!!

NOW GET TO YOUR NEW LJ POST B/C THE REVIVING CAN'T GO ON WITH JUST ME ;) &Good for you for trying new things! It's always so exciting to fall in love with something you previously didn't like!!! :D For me, I now looooooooooove hot sauce! Never thought I could but slowly transitioned myself from a wuss to a hot sauce eating super hero! (Ok not quite there yet, one day;)

Haha, whenever I want to buy something unnecessary I'll just call you up, crying, like "G, I just want more books! I know I have all these unread books, but... But this one's new and by this awesome author that I looooooooove!!" And you're definitely right. It's childish, and more over, it's weird. Treating yourself for going to work like a big kid? C'mon, self! You know that you shouldn't need rewards for fulfilling your responsibilities and SURVIVING ( ... )
