this story is so crazy to me. partly because i have no concept of the political situation in lebanon, but the fact that this story is about christian militias and the fact that the leader of the army and the leader of the country has to be a christian is astounding to me. good grief the world is messed up when "christians" are behaving like this:

today i hit 87 books on the "100 books read in a year" goal. so only thirteen left before december 31st. i think i'm gonna make it with room to spare and that's really exciting.

today steph and i unexpectedly got to go see RENT. anthony rapp and adam pascal are back in it for a limited time and today was one of their last performances. i have wanted to see them in RENT ever since i heard about the musical. it was amazing. i especially love anthony. i was hoping to get my picture taken with him, but he didn't have the time ( Read more... )

i got home from work kinda late tonight and so i don't have the time to write the blog post that i was going to write. but i go in late tomorrow and so i'll hopefully get it written then.
