"The London Freewheel", as was last year, (When long chunk of central London is closed to cars for people to doodle on their bikes) has been renamed "The Mayor of London's Skyride" for this year.

Boris appears to have hijacked this already brilliant and successful event but not added anything  to it.

When I did it two years ago, the entire event was plastered with shameless ken livingstone promotion - it felt like an oppressive totalitarian regime where everyone had to cycle.
