I just looked at your user info. One of my best friends lives in Prescott.

As for the story, yeah pretty interesting. I heard about it & thought, "yup, only in NM."

I thought it was cute that the kid had made a 30" long burrito for class *LOL*

Sad that someone mistook it for a gun though!

Mind if I add you to my friends list? Most of my entries are friends only (although, most of those entries are also quite boring).

So I see you're a Duran Duran fan...I'm hoping they'll add an Az show or two in September like they're rumored to be doing.

Hey, that's cool that your friend lives here. I actually live in Prescott Valley which is just minutes from Prescott, but the LJ wouldn't let me put in the whole name for some odd reason. Anyway, yes, please do add me to your friends list. I've already added you to mine. And yes, I am a die hard DD fan, have been for more years than I sometimes care to remember. LOL!! I moved to AZ from AR and they hardly ever did any concerts around there either, so I'm hoping they'll come to Phoenix or at least back to Vegas.

As you've probably guessed, I'm a diehard fan too. It's strange to think that I've spent over 2/3 of my life being devoted to this band and their music. I must be nuts!

DD have played NM twice...once in Las Cruces in 93 and once in Albuquerque in 03. I was at both shows. Growing up here really sucked because Duran Duran never came here and I never got to see them.

Now that I'm an "adult" & making my own money, I've gone overboard and have seen them quite a few times on the past few tours. Making up for lost time, ya know?

I do hope they play Az and/or Vegas because both are close and easy enough for me to go to! I want MORE!
