ok town in scrubs is seriously quite weird

after i dragged myself out in the really icky humid weather to go down to town, we (me joan helena and wei shyuan) put on our really ugly and huge green scrubs and walked rounds in town with tin can in hand. as usual, when doing flag day, people tend to form a 2m radius around you and make the extra effort not to walk near us >.< well this time was

Oh dear! Haha yeah I guess we looked more legit in hospital wearing scrubs XD people were really generous; some people even walked up to us to donate! We prolly got a handful of $10 bills from people :) heh but it was really fun! Although Tamara did say that it felt like we were preying on their feelings, cuz most of them prolly were visiting someone in hospital ><

Oddly enough, I kinda enjoy doing flag days more than any other sort of fundraising activities ^^;;

haha ya! tamara said the tin was like full. was urs? ours wasn't even a fifth full and the most i got was 4 bucks. anyway they say the rag thing is more fun in uk coz u just need a pail and can go to other countries and do :D i sure hope it is!

Haha just get a pail?! No lah our tins weren't that full, but we had quite a lot of money! Mine was very heavy I was very tired from holding it :p okay lah I need more arm muscles XD

Were there alot of people doing the Orchard/Shenton shifts?

oh haha ya i heard rag's a big deal there coz when i went for my interview, then the girl was raving about how she hoped she could get tickets for rag coz only got dunno how many places o.O so strange
