I am so excited to see you on my flist again - it's been too long. Here is some love for you: you wrote some of my favourite ever stories for Pilots (Seven, Like Dante's, Contraventions...) and you are unfailingly lovely. Always.

I'm hoping to be about more. I need things to do that don't involve quite so much reading other people's stuff, over and over! But I really need to finish a fic or three before I can bring myself to post anything new, let alone a post-series AU that's been mixing about in my head.

Nails aren't really a 'colour'; they're short, because I've been jogging mornings and I keep clipping them off too far so they don't annoy me. Instead, they're just buffed nicely and given a pearly translucent glaze. Still, pretty. Pink is nice on anyone but me.

You don't have to have a fic offering to post on your LJ, Leda. We all want to know about YOU, not about your fic (not that your fic would be shunned, that's for sure!). Post about your life! The weather! What you had for breakfast! I would be interested in all these things! Even the colour of your socks!

Yay for pretty. Pretty nails give me an inordinate amount of satisfaction for something so small. Pink would be nice on you too, I'm sure. :D

I don't know. I'm as ivory-pale as the worst of schlocky romantic heroines, because in my family it's suicide to tan, and I always think pink just accents that, heh. I'd use bronzer or something, but it always looks so incredibly fake on me. I'm resigned to old-fashioned pallor, I think.

Well sleuthed ;) I didn't consider that it'd give me away. In any case, you deserve it.

I'd probably post more if I had anything to tell; I've been horribly hermit-like since my job petered out a few months ago. I do dull domestic stuff, read a lot and cook. Le voila =) Still, I miss writing fic and reviews - really miss reviews - but there's not been anything on TV which has grabbed my interest in quite the same way since BSG. I enjoy Bones and NCIS, but I have no real fic-interest in them.

I'll have a look at that colour: I can't wear dark tones without looking vaguely gothic, so anything that's a sheer, shimmery or metallic and isn't too lolly tends to look okay. Thank you!
