After a brief stop at the clothing store to pick up a pair of swim trunks (something he hadn't realized he didn't have until he'd started making plans with Naoki) and another stop at the grocery store to get some food for a picnic, he'll be heading

[He greets his friend with a smile, lifting the bag he's carrying slightly to indicate that he brought supplies as well.]

I think I went a bit overboard where food was concerned, but we can always bring any leftovers back with us.

[Richard nods.]

I am. Shall we?

[He's about to start walking when something occurs to him and he turns back to Naoki.]

I assume you know the way? If not, I suppose we could always just follow the river until we reach the lake.

[ Fina would be another person taking advantage of the weather and going swimming herself, but she is too preoccupied wandering within the vicinity of the town square and looking off towards house four when she isn't at home lately.

That being said, she only narrowly manages to avoid a collision with Richard after swearing to the Moons the cold drink in her hands smells just like loqua, and blinks at him from underneath her hat, a choice of attire that Cupil has decided to lounge and pool on lazily today as it suffers through this heat. She's far too shy to wish him a good afternoon though. ]

[No worries, Fina, because Richard will be the one wishing you a good afternoon instead once he's certain that she's all right and hasn't spilled her drink or anything. He'll even smile at Cupil as well.]

Good afternoon, Miss Fina. Are you enjoying the weather today?

[ She nods her head shyly at him as Cupil warbles at the Prince before he almost falls off the rim of her hat. ]

[That earns a laugh from him.]

[It's a good thing Richard has good reflexes and is able to jump back to avoid the boy on the strange wheeled contraption. Once he's safely out of the way, his attention turns to making sure the boy is all right and not about to crash into anything or the like-- not that he can really do much at this point.]

[...Not feeling creative today, so. But Tsuzuki wants to say hello, since they're both getting groceries. He looks like he's defying the warm weather: he's in his trademark suit-pants and shirt and tie, even though he should have dressed in something lighter.]

[Tsuzuki isn't the only one dressed more heavily than is necessary for the weather; Richard is wearing his usual tunic and jacket as well. Old habits die hard for this prince, it seems.]

[These two have some terribly stubborn habits, it seems. Tsuzuki collects some tea, fruit and sugar as he talks to Richard.]

[His gaze drifts to the shelf, then back to Tsuzuki again.]

Ah, I was planning to get some strawberries and perhaps some cookies or crackers or... well, anything else that would be good for a picnic.
