Rose arrived a few days ago. She is in Paris, complaining about how the air is different. I suppose it is beacuse of the incessant smoking the French do, amour. It isn't my fault, we were brought up this way. Anyway ( Read more... )

<3 If this isn't heaven, I don't know what is.

Haha! I may understand a lot of French, but I can only speak the bits that I've heard in The Little Mermaid, or other french films I've seen. It's sort of sad.

I'd love to leave the house tomorrow, you can show me around a bit.

I think it's the food. It's always the food. <33

They say it's always easier to learn how to listen than how to speak, but now that you're in FRANCE, you can PRACTICE that FRENCH. *grins*

Wonderful. I've got a whole itinerary planned *pulls out 3 page list of places*

I'd have to go with the company on this one. :-*

*laughs* As long as I don't have to spell it, I'll try my hardest.

Well holy shit. Think we can go through that in one day?

You flatter me so, amour. But I have to say having you here is magnifique! Who else could I eat crepes and make failed soup with?

It's the effort that counts.

If we hustle, we can probably do it. Unless of course you'd like to stop for coffee. Because in that case I'd have to cut the list to 1 page. *grins*

Blech. I was thinking more along the lines of pastries. French pastries are where it's at. I love hearing that you two are having a good time.

That we could do, along with a couple of crepes filled with nutella and strawberries.

You know you are welcome here anytime.

Show her all the things we talked about a few days ago: Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, Centre Pompidou, the Louvre, ... (Or did we talk about them yesterday? Mon Dieu, I'm getting old.)

Merde. I wish I was there.
I'm 31 and homesick. How sad is that?

I shall. I'm sure Rose will love them.

Moi aussi. You must come back soon, oui?
Not at all. We all go through it at some point or another. Plus, France is too hard not to miss.

5 weeks. 5 weeks and I shall see my beloved Paris again.

I'm really starting to like Romania though. I read they call Bucharest 'mini Paris' and I can see why.
